So, college life. How's that working out for ya?

Fri Oct 16, 2009, 2:32 PM
So, I've got to write a rough draft for one of my research papers, expand on my other research paper, start working on my research PRESENTATION for a third class, catch up in Photo I, and study for yet another vicious test in Photo History. All while arting.

Guh.

I'm also looking into residential housing off-campus for when ~Irken-Elite-Tank and I get married this Spring Break in Vegas. that's right. VEGAS. No worrying about planning, no guet lists, no nothing. Though I guess I need to register somewhere for the whole bride-and-groom gift thing that people do. I don't want to get 15 blenders and a cake-mixer, or something like that. LOL

But seriously, need to look into residential housing. Like hell am I letting my husband stay in the decrepit asbestos-filled all-male dorms because this school doesn't have non-traditional housing for married students. Bah.

On the plus side, my tablet's behaving thanks to a driver update. My printer/scanner's behaving too, since I uninstalled and reinstalled the software. But one day I might go "Office Space" on it. (Thanks Kharn, for correcting me when I said "The Office". :XD: Dun watch TV much anymore.) Really need to finish that digital piece I was working on this summer. Fer srs. *shuffles off to do something else instead*

I mean, er... Yeah, I've got stuff to do. Did laundry and took out the trash, but now the dishes need doing. Hmmm.... >_> Oh yeah, and I should probably go to the cafeteria before it closes.

When I'm not doing the college thing, planning for my wedding, or making art, I LOVE to cosplay. Above is me, as Rouge the Bat, from Sonic The Hedgehog.

In a way, Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Party" is feminism's version of Washington Crossing the Delaware--or it would be if Washington had made the trip with his fly open.

I did, I did! I wanted to talk to you about it on AIM, and I left you a message on your LJ about it. 'Tis exciting, but also very scary and I'm sure full of book-raep-goodness. We should all get together again, so your hubby and I can cry together. :XD:

I honestly am excited, but I'm sick and tired of the Burton-Depp-BonhamCarter combo. And now that they're with Disney... Mm. and what's with the dramatic buildup to pull Depp/The Hatter into the preview? Bah, I say. Bah.

Awww, danke. My page sees very little love. Even from me. *shuns page*

Damn, I is sorry D8 I went into hermit mode for a while because I was enjoying life away from teh interwebs for a while XDD I's back now and am planning on staying on teh AIM, so poke me whenever <3

As for Alice, I've been reading the IMDB boards for quite some time, lawl, and know one thing for certain. This movie is taking place ten years after Alice's original visit to Wonderland, and she's forgotten her time there. Stuff happens, she returns, and slowly begins to remember her original adventure. Now, this next part is a RUMOR, but it intrigues me because I'm sick like that XDDD Something about a possible Hatter in love with Alice or some such. Most are horrified by that, tho, and it's not likely XDDD All in all, tho, since I've never read the books, I'm mostly just going to have fun with the movie and try not to hype it up in my head like most peeps already are 8D Now, Zombieland, THAT'S something worth being excited about, I think. I still LOL every time I watch the preview!

Now then, here is some moar luff for your page before I return to Severance writing (for real this time zomg) 8DDD

Some people live in boxes. I stand outside the box and kick it over 'cause it looked at me funny.
